Discipline
One of the Essential Zirgohian bliefs , is that we create our own reality and destiny through our actions and the mindset within we operate. What one believes determines the development of future events.
If enough people believe in something, one can even change the laws of nature, this has already been done and will recurringly be done through our evolution. The best example is modern science were rules and standards are established only to be proved wrong by the next generation.
A mind with a fixed and unmoving mindset is by definition useless, living means learning and learning means change. Life is change ,everything changes you .You are not the same person you where an hour ago ,nor will you be the same person tomorrow . We create our surroundings and our surroundings influence our evolution we are exposed to constant change.
Man- and Womankind has always disliked anyone or anything changing their conception of things. People often feel threatened by anything that deviates from their own views and concepts. We often believe that all of real importance is already known to us and then there comes change to throw all our beliefs overboard. We are then often bewildered and often enough we react with aggression and panic, but in the end we must integrate the changes in our environment within ourselves to stay viable.
One of the premier strengths within man-/womankind is to be able to choose what one wants to believe or not believe and to choose what one wants to be or not to be. No one can dictate what you are, if you realize that nothing is impossible if you just believe in it.
After one has found out what one wants in life it is often of use to establish a personal maxim and inner view of how the world functions, but keep in mind that those are only guidelines and that they should be subject to change as everything else.
Within all that we are (body, soul and mind) there lies the means to the creative shaping of our own wishes, fate and reality. The soul being our essence uses the trinity of body, emotion and intellect to grow and develop. These three being the instrument should always be kept in the best condition possible to achieve the best possible results. For that a high level of personal discipline is of great importance. As a wise man once said: 'Seek independence and you will be slave to your demands, seek discipline and you will find freedom'.(Frank Herbert )
I believe that the key to growth is to cultivate all aspects of our being here on earth, not to overcompensate one aspect.
We feel so we must be emotional fed to grow strong. We must discipline and train ourselves to expand the boundaries set by our upbringing. We must forgive ourselves and others in order to heal and become whole.
We have a mind and intellect that should be trained in a manner that the knowledge it holds is effectively used and of help when needed. It should be trained to be able to hold a high level of concentration so that we can use fluxthinking, without letting our thoughts fly away like birds in frenzy.
We have a body, an incredible instrument full of possibilities and wonders. Movement, sensory perceptiveness, biochemical reactions, cell memory, energetic fields, etc., which we can train and learn to control.
If we cultivate these instruments and sharpen the links between them, we are able to reach a state of being that opens the door to vast possibilities, giving us the opportunity to be and create whatever we wish. This is something I and many others believe in. In my daily life it has proved its worth.
Some of us have limitations, be it some form of handicap, illness or age, but it is possible to reach one's own personal level of harmony within the three aspects of being. This is something I personally strive for.
For this one should try to establish a costumed training plan . For example: A 93 year old may not be able to practice full contact karate (I said 'may not' and not 'is not' for I know some who can), but he or she might find Tai Chi combined with a swimming program the right thing to keep the body in tune without overdoing it.
Somebody in a wheel chair may find it useful to do work with weights and learn stick-fighting.
What I'm trying to say is that one can always find a way to compensate deficits, what counts is the will to make the best of what one is endowed with. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can not do this or that. Everything is possible in its own given time.
